This card is number 48 in my database, added not long after I started compiling it, even though, at that time, I didn't have a picture of the front of the card. This is the only card known with the Lincolnshire Boot Stores advert on the back and I've only just managed to acquire a scan of the front of the card, after more than twenty years...
This card was probably issued before 1884, during the period when Grimsby Town played in blue and white hoops. After 1884 the colours were chocolate and blue.
